The Stolen Carpet
In the morning, Harry's parents came back home. When they came inside, they noticed a carpet was missing. Harry awoke and went down stairs, but
his parents stopped him. They asked,"Harry,did you throw away our big blue carpet?" Harry said,"No."Harry's siblings woke up to hear what the fuss was all about.They asked, "Mommy, Daddy, whats wrong?" Harry's parents just called the vampire if he had the carpet.He said,"Yes, I do have your carpet."So Harry's parents went to the vampire's house without Harry.When Harry's parents left,Harry had an idea. He told his siblings his idea. He said,"Why don't we make our own carpet and take some white fabric from Mommy, and paint it blue?" Harry's siblings agreed. So they did Harry's idea. When they were done, they put the carpet where it was before. But before they put it on the floor, they stuffed cotton in it.Then they put it on the floor. When Harry's parents came back with their carpet,they saw the new blue, stuffed carpet that Harry and his siblings made.Mom said,"Did you make this, Harry?" "Not just me,"answered Harry,"Me and my siblings made it too."Harry's parents were so happy,they gave their old blue carpet to the vampire, and he now was nice.
